Nic Feeney is a Washington, DC based photographer and communications professional with a keen interest in documentary and humanitarian photography.

As a career communications professional and refugee advocate, Nic’s work is a testament to his unwavering commitment to amplifying the voices and stories of refugees from around the globe and resettled refugees who now call the United States home.

Nic’s other photography passion is documenting daily life unfolding around him.

His personal work has been featured by local D.C. photography collectives and recognized internationally. In 2024, Nic’s work was recognized with a Lens Culture Street Photography Award Editors’ Selection for his photograph, and he was selected to showcase multiple photographs in the Urban Photo Awards exhibition in Trieste, Italy. In 2025, Nic’s work will be included in the Muhammad Ali Center’s Shining a Light exhibit featuring portraits of emerging women leaders from around the world.
